Other than the downloads section it seems pretty empty. Also, what is the point of a second forum? Or is it a forum for general users to post bugs and topics for troubleshooting help? Also has anyone considerd a means of advertisement? We all know about Revo because we're behind the scenes. But we're not going to get any interest from the gaming community at large if we only rely on spreading the word by word-of-mouth. I myself wouldn't know where to start, but is it something to consider?

I don't either see the point of a secondary forum other than for visitors who aren't part of the project.

As for the advertisement, I think it's a pretty good idea although rather difficult to do. I don't either know how to do it or where to start.. Rolling Eyes

All of these are good points.

The texts are written by Patriot and RK. Mainly because my english skills are not good enough to write proper texts on the site.

But possibly some of this forum members has more talent at that side.

That another Forum is temprorarily there. Originally idea was to close this forum and move on the new forum. But at the end, Moutinho was fully against this kind of way, so we are staying here till we find a solution for the problem.

We are trying to find some another use for it possibly. I have been thinking that it might be a good system to store/share files easily. Being independent SMF forum, it is way more customizable than this forumup service. And in to own SMF forum, it is also easy to isntall all kinds of useful plugins, like the gallery plugin that we already installed.

So the forum is "waiting" there, till we decide what we do with it.

The webpage really needs more material and higher quality content. And the webpage news section needs someone to update it with interesting news/images. That's where I wish that all of you other members could help a little. We are looking for someone with good english skills.

The biggest turnoff when going to a website for me is seeing misspelled words. 4x4revo.com has too much misspellings, not enough information.

Even the title of the website on the nav bar is spelled wrong. 4x4 Revoltuion? Do we really want that appearing in search engines?

On the homepage at the top, download is spelled downlaod. In the middle section, "You will find the game very fun and interesting if your an offroad fan"

Should be "If you are an" or "If you're an", not "your an".

Also the page is too unprofessional, the navbar and logo is professional, and a great first impression, but as soon as you hit the middle with the picture, it no longer looks good. At the least center the image, put a space where the text begins, and use a bulleted list for what is in the game. Don't condense it all in one paragraph, no one reads paragraphs! Lists are easier to read and comprehend.

Just my 2 cents.

The page theme lost its linearity, when there was many cooks making same soup. I was making the theme by my way, and RK adding things by his way.

I think way to solve this, is together decide the colors that are being used, fonts that must be used, overall structure of the page, links, and image style/placing.

Nick, do you have interest/time to write a little better texts, without this much miss spelling? With a little more informative content. That would be greatly appreciated. You are American with good english skills as well.

Apologizes for late reply.

I currently have a lot on my hands, and I unfortunately will not be able to commit full-time in writing texts.

I am willing to provide pointers and opinions including the text with my 6 years of experience working with websites though. I've seen plenty of do's and don't's.
